Armed home invader demands victim ‘smoke weed with him’, falls down hill

Cadillac: A Michigan man is facing a potential life sentence after breaking into a house wielding a knife and telling the shocked homeowner “You’re going to smoke some weed with me right now.”

The suspect, identified in an article by Raw Story as Seth Ellsworth Lewis, allegedly broke into the Cadillac home early last Wednesday morning carrying a knife and waking up the owner of the property, who had been sleeping on a couch. Lewis then made the strange demand to join him in the partaking of some marijuana. The homeowner was able to stall the unwelcome guest from this request before grabbing the knife and fleeing to a neighbor’s property to call police. Cops soon arrived at the scene and found the suspect had fallen down a hill at the back of the property.

Lewis was charged with one count of first-degree home invasion and one count of assaulting/resisting/obstructing a police officer. Having been designated as an habitual offender already, the suspect faces a potential life term if convicted on these latest charges.
